Henleaze Library refurbishment
Henleaze Library will see substantial investment, repair and refurbishment over the coming months. It is due to close on 10th November and re-open in March 2008 in expanded premises on the same site but library users need not worry - a temporary library is being provided at the Methodist Church on North View, open six days a week.

Sam Townend, Labour’s prospective parliamentary candidate for the new Bristol North West constituency who lives just north of Henleaze, said, “I am really pleased that my local library is seeing this investment from Bristol City’s Labour-run Council.

The library is a fantastic local institution and runs great schemes such as Book Start, free starter books for infants, and free internet access for all.” Sam is pictured with libary regular Ros Jennings.
