Investment in local schools

State schools continue to receive substantial investment through the Labour Government’s direct grant to Bristol City Council’s education department.

Sam said, “Local Stoke Bishop Primary School should be congratulated for its continuing good results. “I am proud to represent the Labour party who since 1997 have introduce measures is help hard working families like mine. For every three- and fouryear-old, there is now free part-time nursery education, and for every parent of a child that falls ill, there is now the right to time off in family emergencies.”
